end pin thread....

Hi all, a question.....
What is the thread of the end pin/jack socket sticking out from the bottom of the guitar ?
I have a new Gibson J45 and my problem is that there is insufficient clearance to get a thick strap on the strap pin, I have to use a thinner strap than I would like.
In viewing replacement nuts to suit it I see that the thread is stated to be 3/8" 32 but mine isn't that thread.
It has a diameter of .350 "

Hi Eric,
The thread on the end of our jacks is a Metric M9 size.
