Lyric battery holder fix...

I have a Lyric pickup in my D-35. The battery holder is designed to be held on to the guitar with a Velcro strip on the neck block. Problem is the glue on the Velcro strip doesn't stay attached to the neck block for long, and it falls off, leaving the battery pack to bounce around the inside of the guitar. My solution was to put a thumbtack thru the Velcro strip into the neck block, then reattach the battery pack to it...works like a charm.

Well...there ya go! Whatever works, I guess.

I've replaced the adhesive before with something a little stronger (3M tape).
