  • T-bridge on a Les Paul Studio - Full Diagram?

    Hi,
I need to install a Tune-o-matic Piezo bridge on a Les Paul Studio, no pre-amp.
In the LR Baggs installation instruction I see only the Mag.Vol.pot, the T-bridge Vol.pot and the Output.

But the Les Paul Studio has two Volume and two Tone pots, how to deal with them in this setup?
I'm not that good with electronics that I can figure that out myself

Does someone have a full diagram for me showing all components in the setup for a Les Paul? So showing all pots, switch, output bridge and summing board?

    Thanks in advance,
    Cheers,
    AJ

Hi AJ =, could you send me that diagram please? I have a stock LP Custom and want to mount a 5Meg thumbwheel pot under the pick guard and have the mono LP blending with the T-Bridge in mono as well. No pre amp.
      Thank you in advance!
      Pete

        Hey Pete,
There is not a diagram for passive blending available. The reason it isn't available is because it is highly recommended against.

Any time you blend two pickups that have very different output and impedance levels, the two sources will "load" on each other, causing tone a volume loss from each pickup. This is why the T-Bridge comes with a stock stereo configuration. When you introduce a preamp, you then have the ability to match the signals for even blending, without any tone loss.

If you want to blend the Piezo and Mag signals on your guitar, the CTRL-X is the only thing that I would recommend.

I just found it online. Is there a LP diagram? Thank you again for your help!
