  • I Beam Passive in a D-35

I have an I Beam passive that I removed from another guitar and have been thinking about putting in a 40 year old Martin D-35.

I'm wondering if it will sound too boomy. Any thoughts?

The iBeam can be unpredictably boomy in some cases, but in most guitars it should do a pretty good job of matching the low-end response of the guitar.

If you already have the pickup, I think it's definitely worth trying in the D-35. I think it should work pretty well.
