Hi,
I'm attempting to repair a Para - Acoustic DI for a friend. The circuit is "Rev. G" - manufactured in 2010. Terrible, distorted sound. Symptom is not intermittent at all - Most likely component failure of some sort?? Sound is fine from the effects loop so I guess the input stage of the preamp is OK. Pushing in the "invert" switch seems to affect the volume level (still distorted) more than it should. I also have a Para DI that I was hoping I could use to compare signals and voltages, but It's an older model (rev. C2). I could probably figure this out with my scope if I had a schematic, but I know those are not available. Any advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Matt
