  • Crappy pre-amp

I have a Breedlove that has a preamp in it that says it's an LR Baggs - LR-TCV. I can't find anything but bad reviews that I agree with about this preamp. I'm led to believe its a Crafter but they show nothing about it either. Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement? Thanks.
P.S. I don't mean to sound negative but I expect WAY more from a product the has the LR Baggs name on it!

    Hey jdh2os,
That preamp is actually designed and manufactured by Crafter. It has LR Baggs on it because it uses the Element pickup. Everything else is Crafter's though.

So... How about a replacement preamp recommendation? Something that is a higher quality unit than the one from Crafter. I can't seem to find anything as far as purchasing just a preamp on the LR Baggs website.

If you want to send me an email at [email protected], I can send you a template for the Stage Pro Element preamp. The Stage Pro has worked as a LR-T replacement in the past. So assuming the dimensions haven't changed, the Stage Pro should be a good upgrade.

The Stage Pro Element Pre-Amp is a great unit.
