Lyric producing Very high pitch tone

Hi all....
I have a Lyric mic installed in my 00 Martin that i play directly
into my fishman amp. Been playing with this setup for about 2 months with no issue. All of the sudden i am hearing an extremely loud high pitch that makes the setup unplayable. I switched amps and cables...still there. Low volume the pitch is not as lound...it increases with volume increase...but its always there now. Installed the Lyric about 1 year ago. Thoughts? Other facts... Ive changed rooms and buildings...ive also turned off cell phones...no change.

oh...and its not feedback....this pitch is there when not playing.

A little MP3 recording would help a LOT to hear the sound?
Sometimes as soon as you hear a sound it's easy to tell what it is?

Hey Chris,
The only time I've heard of anything like that with a Lyric, a new battery solved the issue. I would suggest replacing the battery with a fresh one. That should take care of the issue.
