Venue boost not working

So, I've had my Venue for 2 to 3 years and decided to try the boost function to balance fingerstyle and pick. Using xlr output there is no change in output. Any idea what the problem could be?

Hey fearless,
Have you adjusted the Boost level on the back of the Venue yet? It adjusts from +0 to +9dB. If it is set at 0, it won't boost the signal when the boost is engaged.

Caleb, I have adjusted the boost to the mid point and to the max with no change in output.

If you have the boost footswitch engaged and the trim pot on the back is not effecting the level, then that's definitely a problem.
