Diffrent tunning

Im thinking about buying a m1 pickup but want to know if it can handle low tunnings.
I take the bottom E down to A to play bass lines along side other rhythems. It would be great to hear peoples view on this.

Sorry for the late response. That's pretty low tuning! The M1 will work for that use.

Hi Ben,

It will work but the low strings can become quite floppy and risk contacting the pickup's pole pieces. A change in string behavior will likely result in a change in pickup response and tone. You'd have to try it to see how well it works for your application.
