Para Di with MA1?

im planning to buy a pickup for my acoustic guitar but i dont know if it would be great to combine the M1a with Para Di cause the M1a alsa has a preamp , well.
hope someone could help thanks!

Welcome to the Forum!

While it is not necessary to add an additional preamp, there will be some benefits to doing so. The Para DI will give you the option to further boost and EQ your signal before it is sent to the board. The EQ is very beneficial because with magnetic pickups you generally need a mid cut around 1.5k. You will also have the option to make the signal balanced before sending it to the board.
