Para DI...Effect Loop Issue

Hi,

My recently bought Para DI worked great until I took off a pedal and had it modded...as soon as I put the pedal back on the effects loop was noisy with low volume which got worse when I set my gain and turned up the volume...then it worked fine...then back to not working so well.

When I take the effects loop out of the mix the DI works like it should.

I have a very simple acoustic pedal board consisting of a Boss TU-2, Boss CS-3 (modded), Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive and a Line6 DL4...simple!

I also use George L's solder-less pedal connectors...

I am currently using a cheap Hosa insert cable?

Any suggestions on what it might be before I go ripping my board apart?

Problem Solved!

Despite being very meticulous when putting together the George L's solder-less connectors...one connector wasn't making good contact so I swapped for a new piece of cable and after three attempts it works great...

I've been using them on my boards for the last 4 years with little or no problem until now...

I've heard about people not liking these solder-less DYI connectors for this reason!
