Question about the Venue EFX loop

Where, in the signal path, is the EFX insert? Is it pre or post EQ? Is it pre or post gain? These info should be in the manual...

The signal path goes like this: Gain->EQ->Phase->Send->Return->VU->Boost->Mute->1/4" Vol.
