I have just bought a ParaDI for my partner she plays fiddle through a condenser mic which needs phantom power.Have I made a mistake? will the XLR give power to the condenser through the 1/4 imput jach?Thanks for your help.
The Para DI can be powered by Phantom Power, but it does not supply it. So the Para DI is not the right preamp to use if you require it to power a mic.
