  • EAS-C plus DI (active+active??)

    Hi,

I have just bought and mounted a element active system EAS-C for my classical guitar. It sounds excellent. If I buy a DI and use it with my EAS-C which is already "active", would not be active + active hazardous to amplification in general????. Would I take out EAS-C 's battery then? The preamp in the EAS-C system would function anyway? Can you please lighten my un-understanding the issue) Thanks!!

    Hi Gunhak,
Having a pre-amp in line with an active pickups system will have no negative effect on your signal. We always run our active systems through a Venue DI when we go to trade shows.
