I'm currently using a Fishman ellipse blender on my Lowden and am considering changing to the new Anthem system. Is the Anthem better or would there be a noticeable difference? I use the guitar in a three piece acoustic band and also for solo fingerstyle gigs. All advice appreciated.

Hi mickeyfrets. I am the marketing director for lr baggs. Thanks for joining the forum. Does your lowden have a split saddle? The anthem will not be able to work in an a split saddle in its current state. If you can install it you will notce a very big improvement. The trumic captures your soundboard much better than any pickup or gooseneck mic. It also feels much more natural to the touch, meaning you are free to play the guitar and not the pickup. Finally, it is stankin feedback resistant (not like old mic technology). For what its worth, i have never seen lloyd as excited as when he created this product. The anthem is 30 years of work in one system. That is older than me.

Thanks for getting back to me Michael. The Lowden does have a split saddle so unfortunatley I'll not be able to use the Anthem. Does Lloyd have any plans to make a split saddle version in the near future? If so, I would certainly be interested in having one installed. George Lowden was going to bring me an Anthem system back from NAMM and I believe he and Thomas Leeb called at your stand yesterday to buy one for me but were also told that it wouldn't work on a split saddle.

I have a split saddle avalon and i would love to fit an anthem in it. I have heard that George Lowden is now using them in his split saddle guitars. Does anyone know where i can buy one, or if there in the pipeline, when they will be released for sale to the general public. Chris
