    Hi Joseph,

The Highlander, being a coaxial pickup, requires that the bottom of the saddle slot be made concave to accommodate the roundness of the coaxial pickup. This is not recommended for the Element pickup as the Element is a flat flexible sensor strip. It requires that the bottom of the saddle and the bottom of the slot be as flat and smooth as possible to ensure even contact and pressure along the length of the saddle.

started a topic Anthem where there once was a Highlander

Anthem where there once was a Highlander

This probably is most directed to the LR Baggs folks but I'll throw it out there for everyone in the off chance someone's been down this road.

Would an Anthem (the Element component) sit in a guitar whose bridge was channeled for a Highlander. Would there be any advantage? Any dis-advantage?
