iBeam passive pickup and Venue

Hi!
I have an iBeam passive pickup and try to run it through Venue D.I. but don´t get any sound through it. Are these supposed to be able to work together or do you need a separate preamp for the iBeam? / yours fransmo

The iBeam is definitely compatible with the Venue. The Gain will need to be turned up more than it would on active pickups, but that should be the only concern. Assuming that you are using mono instrument cables and not balanced/stereo cables.
