You can install the jack in the endpin, but the process is slightly difficult. So you may have a hard time finding someone who can make the hole and secure it well. If you have a more expensive instrument, the carpenter jack might be a less intrusive option.

I have been using a Baggs violin pickup for about 25 years. Now I am looking at buying a new and more expensive violin and do not want to put the carpenter jack on it. What other options are there? I know you can buy the pickup non terminated. Is there a way to put it in the endpin? or other solution?Tags: None
