Para DI XLR - loud pop when touched

Hi there,

As per the title, I get a very loud popping noise when any lead plugged into the XLR out is so much as gently nudged on my Para DI. I'm not talking about deliberately waggling it - just moving the box slightly on stage is enough to make it happen, as is moving the lead.

Has it lost a rubber washer or something? I've only recently been using the XLR out so I don't know if it's been like this since I bought it or not.

Any thoughts/fixes would be most welcome!

Hi Lewis,
How old is the DI?

There is a possibility that the XLR jack needs to be replaced, but before that, I would recommend trying a few different cables.
