Big fan of Lyric/Anthem.
I previously asked a Caleb question about the rubber ring in the middle of the Anthem mic hanging slightly off the bridge plate due to the location of bridge pins and the size of the plate itself.
Took the plunge; carefully removed the mic, reset it just in front of the bridge plate (touching nothing but the top, and re-installed the clip to keep the lead <leed> wire off the wood.)
MORE PERFECT! Clearer treble, Ringier. less e.q.'ing needed. Better balance. LOUDER!
The Lyric rubber ring in Dag (my Santa Cruz "Stock OM" guitar) sits all the way on the plate. It's perfect. I'm not gonna fuss with it. But, I can't help wondering...
