L.R. Baggs Lyric Jack Socket - jeeps, that's tight!!!

Hi,

I recently purchased a Lyric which I plan to have fitted in my Martin D15. Couldn't help opening the box and smelling the parts, though I notice the jack socket is exceptionally tight. A guitar jack only goes 2/3 of the way in, then it sticks. You have to really push to drive it all the way in. Feels like it might yank the bottom of the guitar off once fitted. Surely this isn't normal? Can it be adjusted?

Hey Wes,
The jack can't be adjusted, but it will usually loosen up after about a week or two of use. Some jacks are a little tighter than others in general, but that makes the jack last much longer in the end.
