  • AC Adapter for Venue DI

Heard horror stories about people getting the wrong polarity tip for their Venue. What adapters do you recommend? Make/models would be great! Cheers!

I always recommend the Visual Sound 1-Spot. It has always worked well with the Venue. No compatibility issues at all.

      Caleb,

Do you use the polarity reverser for the Visual Sound 1-Spot? http://www.amazon.com/Visual-Sound-C...l+Sound+1-Spot

Or just the straight 1-Spot? http://www.amazon.com/Visual-Sound-O...l+Sound+1-Spot

I'm kinda freaked out about making sure the polarity is correct, but LR doesn't spec an adapter and conversely many adapters don't spec polarity.

      Thanks!

        H. D.C. Input
The D.C. power input is designed for a standard 2mm plug commonly used with eff ects
pedals and “fl oor-box” products. Most “wall-wart” or multi-power devices designed for
musical products may be used. The voltage must be greater than 7.5VDC and less than
14VDC. However, you can use any amperage that is 100mA or greater.
IMPORTANT: Polarity of power supply must match polarity marked on back of Venue: Tip (-),
        Ring (+).

The 1 Spot is compatible without any other adapters. I've used my 1 Spot with my Venue for about two years, without any problems.
