Does the Lyric jack support balanced output?

Some of the other posts seem to allude to this but I thought I would ask specifically to be clear. Can I plug a balanced cable directly into the Lyric jack and go to a XLR input on a mixer without any preamp in between? Thanks.

Hey topstan,
The Lyric output only supports an unbalanced output. So if you wanted to convert it, you would need a preamp or a DI box.
