Lyric power supply

Is it possible to power Lyric (and it's preamp) from Gigpro phantom power possibility instead of on-board battery?

Hey Kozzo,
Unfortunately, the Lyric's preamp is not designed to run on Phantom Power. So as the Lyric is currently designed, it will only operate with the dedicated preamp, powered by 9v battery.

I think its an idea that is long past due - get the batteries out of our guitars please!
Maybe LR Baggs will be a leader in this area and make a new version that is phantom
powered. What a god-send that would be!
