Venue DI Boost Questions

I am contemplating purchasing a Venue DI for my acoustic rig. I was curious about the placement of the boost in the signal chain. According to a post I found from 2012 it goes: Gain->EQ->Phase->Send->Return->VU->Boost->Mute->1/4" Vol.

So if i were to put a looper (boomerrang III) in the effects loop, create a loop, then want to be able to solo over it using the boost, would the loop level stay the same or would it also boost the signal of the looper. By the above signal chain it's sounding like it will boost anything in the effects loop as well?

Hey Even,
You are right- since the boost comes after the FX loop, the boost will raise the volume of the Boomerang as well as the guitar signal. The only way to avoid this would be to use the 1/4" output from the DI into your Boomerang. Of course, this will not allow you to use the XLR/DI output.
