Few days ago I got a Lyric for my Taylor GS mini. It sounds very good,as providing a very natural acoustic sound.But when I plugged it into an amplifier something went wrong. When I strum with full volume of Lyric it started to get overdrived. With the same amp,same knob setting, I've tried M1A and Anthem with another guitar before and none of them had clipped. After I heard the overdrived sound I asked the music shop for immediately replacement, but the 2nd set still sound crunchy. Mic position is right under the bridge,and I think the battery is still alive. Should I go back and ask for 3rd replacement or is this a specific situation for GS mini series?or is there any way I can mod it to avoid the overdrive like tape the mic or something else? Thanks !

There are some questions about your equipment and setup that may help isolate the issue to one cause or another.
What are you playing through? How do you set your gain in the amplification system? Do you use a hard playing dynamic when setting your gain and EQ levels?
You mentioned this problem starting when you plugged it into an amplifier. What were you playing through before that? Is there anything you can tell me about this amplifier that is not the case with what you were previously using?
The Taylor GS Mini is a fairly small guitar. How much room is there around the microphone fixture? Is there a chance it is nearly touching the string ball ends?
Please reply with that info when you're able.
