So when are you going to start talking about the new personal PA?

I'd like to know the weight. The crossover frequency, and the frequency range.

It is a little disturbing to know that in my lifetime I could have bought a new car for less than the retail on this small package.

We should have everything available when the Synapse launches. Right now we're still compiling the specifics and putting it all together.

    Stay tuned!

I have been waiting for something more to come out on this system. Horns intrigue me as Klisp was known for their big horns which were very efficient but seem to have been phased out in the 60's / 70's. The argument being given horns can not reproduce a human voice properly nor strings. I know nothing about the science about that argument being it was a long time ago. Perhaps they were too big and expensive to make. But here we have horns again an I do so what to see and hear just what these classic looking babies can do. You need to put out a video with different types of performers using it to give us an idea of what they can do.

I understand the Synapse is beginning to ship I would love to see some product reviews on this unit, I have been waiting since January for some product reviews - this is a high priced unit I would think you guys will place some product reviews out there. Sweetwater has sold a few but could sell a lot more if there were some product reviews. I am still waiting to purchase, but will not until I see some more reviews out there and more promotion from Baggs.

          Hey Coree,
We've actually just shipped out a few Synapse for review/video in the last week. We aren't shipping for retail sale just yet, but you should see a few video reviews popping up in the next few weeks.

          Stay tuned!

Hi been waiting for a long while for this Synapse to come out. Still very little in reviews. I would like to hear this speaker with finger style guitar thumping low bass response playing. The vocals seem colored, reverb? Is this only good for country styled music? Please post more varieties of music and instruments and vocals. It seems you have only approached the county venues. I think you should show people what it can do.

I can really only tell you what I've experienced with the Synapse. I've had the opportunity to use the Synapse in a number of live applications, including an outdoor wedding of about 100 people. In that situation I ran two vocals into the 2 main channels, and I ran my guitar into the Aux input and controlled the level from my Session DI. The vocals, with a little bit of reverb, were rich, full and defined. As a singer, the sound from the Synapse sounds more "whole" and immediate than any other PA or monitor that I've used. As a guitar player, the Synapse has excellent dynamics and it sounds huge for a single speaker. The Synapse did OK with music for the reception/dancing, but the bass was lacking for some more "modern" dance music. Without a sub, that's typical of any single speaker though.

Doyle Dykes played fingerstyle through the Synapse at the NAMM show last month, and it sounded fantastic. It was LOUD, and the bass response was, if anything, too strong. So there are no style limitations (within reason).

A lot of people recorded the performance on their phones. I might be able to email you something. Shoot me an email at [email protected], and I'll see what I can find.
