Hello group.
New guy here. I have a CARVIN AC175 that is about 20 years old. Does L.R. Baggs make a good suitable pickup replacement for my guitar?

Hey Gary,
Thanks for posting.

I'm having a difficult time finding any specifics on the electronics that Carvin put in those guitars. So it's hard to say if any of our systems will be comparable.

My guess from looking at the guitar is that it uses a simple UST. If that's the case, then our Element Active VTC would probably be the closest retrofit. The Volume and Tone pots can also be swapped out with traditional pots so that you can utilize two of the three holes that are already in the guitar.

That's my 2 cents.
