One last question (I am a few months away from installing this - building the guitar first :-)
I assume I can run it to a standard mono jack instead of the stereo jack provided?

That's actually a great question.
The volume pot that we provide with the X-Bridge is a 5 Meg value. This value was chosen to try and effect the passive Piezo tone as little as possible before it goes into a preamp. With that said, the tone will still be less effected without the volume pot.
So it's your choice, really. If you want an onboard volume control, the pot that we provide is the best option. If you don't need the volume, then wiring the pickup directly to the output jack will work great.
All the best!

X-Bridge - Volume or no Volume?
I just purchased an X-Bridge for a custom build I am working on. The bridge will be my only pickup in the guitar. I am not going to use a pre-amp (Control X). Would I get better signal/tone going straight to the input jack or would wiring the volume pot provided then to input jack be a better way to go? Pros and cons? Thanks.
