The Anthem has a pickup as well as a mic, while the Lyric only has a mic. So the Lyric has the capability to sound much more natural since the pickup is not coloring the sound.
The pickup in the Anthem has definite advantages though. So I wouldn't necessarily say that one is better than the other.
They both work very well for what they do.

When we've installed any steel string Anthem on a classical guitar, the results have always been less than pleasing. So if you have a nylon string guitar, the Anthem SL Classical should serve your needs much better.
I hope that helps.
I´ve ended up gettiing a LR Baggs Lyric Classical Acoustic for nylon also. It should be an upgrade of the Anthem, right?

For a classical guitar - stage pro x anthem sl classical
Hello there!
I am willing to install a pickup on my 6 strings classical guitar, but I am in great doubt of which one to choose. I am in between the STAGE PRO and the ANTHEM SL CLASSICAL. I do not know anyone who has any one of these two pickups and I could only find material on internet regarding the ANTHEM SL CLASSICAL. Could you guys help me to understand which choice will be the best for a nylon classical guitar to be used in live performances?
Thanks!
