  • M1 Temporary Set Up

IF this has been covered, I apologize; the 'search engine' doesn't seem to want to answer my questions.
I'm looking for a Temporary Pickup for my old Gibson J45. How realistic is the M1 for this? How easy to install and UN install?
    Thanks!

    Hi Professor,
The J45 has a good sized soundhole, so the M1 is pretty easy to get in and out. It should only take a minute or two to get the pickup installed, with the strings at full tension.

If you're looking for a non-invasive pickup, the M1 Passive with an external preamp is a great way to go!

Thanks, Caleb!! I was wanting to hear just that. I like the idea of a Passive pickup (prefer my own preamp) and I DON'T want to have to loosen strings to install and uninstall a pickup.
