Venue DI

I play guitar and sing and own a Fishman SA200. My girlfriend bought me an LR Baggs Venue Full Isolation D.I. I also play a Takamine acoustic guitar with volume and EQ controls. Is the Venue D.I. a good addition to my set up? Will it give me that much better sound? Or is it best to directly run my guitar to my Fishman?

Hey Rob,
The Venue DI is absolutely worth using, even if you don't necessarily need it as a preamp. I've used the Venue for about 8 years, and it has always improved the tone of whatever I've plugged into it. Also, having the mute at your feet is really handy!
