Ring on the A string

i jut set up my new Para Acoustic DI box. When I was playing today there what a ring on the A string when I played a C in the third fret. Does anyone know how to correct this?

I play a Takamine G series. I use the Takamine factory pickup.

If you start to get a resonating feedback, the first thing to use would be the Phase button. Hitting the Phase button should shift the sensitive note to a different one.

Once you find the best Phase setting, you can use the Notch and GADB knobs to dial out any additional feedback. You can set the Notch to about the 9 o'clock setting, and then sweep the GADB knob from left to right until you hear the feedback get notched out. Once you find the note, the Notch knob can be raised or lowered to-taste.
