Anthem preamps...is there a difference?

I thought I heard someone say they changed the output on the Anthem pickup system at some point, changing it to a lower output. I noticed this on a newer guitar I purchased...the Anthem is factory-installed, but didn't seem nearly as loud as one I had put in a Gibson maybe 5-ish years ago?

Anybody know about this?

The output of the Anthem has never changed. Any output difference you get between guitars would be a result of the pickup's response to the specific guitar (woods, body style, saddle material, etc.).
