I have had problems in this regard from 2 different Baggs Para D. I. boxes over the years. Great tool, but this huge popping noise that happens at intervals with many xlr cords is totally unacceptable. I bought a second box only b/c I couldn't troubleshoot the first and needed to have a functioning unit for my work. New one - same problem! There are some cords that don't make the shorting sound (phantom power being used), but most, including those of pro sound companies can produce this horrible noise if the cord is hit or moved in any way. I really need some help here...
