Damaged Mic Level Control on Anthem SL

I have damaged the mic level control of my Anthem SL so an exact blend cannot be set (it is either "full on" or "off").
How can it be fixed? I plan to take it to an electronic engineer and have him remove the broken electronic part and solder a new one. What electronic part should I buy and bring to him?

I found out that this electronic part that should be replaced is called a "trim pot". What specs should it have?

I have this exact issue as well. Either on or off. I tried turning the pot more both ways and now its not functioning at all? Pretty bummed a $300 dollar product like this fell apart so easily to be honest. I'm was pretty gentle with it and it feels like it just completely broke off.. like it was held there by a toothpick.
