Element under saddle pickup, possible to install from treble side?

I'm installing an element piezo pickup (as part of an anthem SL). The X-brace is so close to the bass side of the saddle slot that I think it is impossible to install it at an angle without drilling straight into the brace. There is enough room on the treble side. Is it possible to install the element from the treble side? Thanks.

Hey dingobats,
The Element can easily be installed from the treble side of the slot, without any negative effects.

If there's not enough room there, you can also drill the hole at less of an angle.
