M80 and monel retro strings

Anyone know if you have to replace pole pieces on the M80 if you install Martin Monel retro strings.Thanks

The core of the Monels are still made of steel, so you shouldn't need to change the pole piece configuration.

I assume same thing goes for the Daddario Nickel Bronze strings then? I just got an M80 and installed it today with these strings

The M80 should work just fine with the D'Addario's Nickel Bronze strings, without any changes to the poles.
