I have an Emerald Synergy harp guitar with a (factory-installed) iMix-based pickup system. Some stereo cables work correctly; but others don't seem to close the power circuit properly, and the LED flickers but stays off (and ergo no power, no signal). I can't see an obvious difference in placement or size of the TRS elements on the cables that work and the ones that don't. Does anybody have any insights into this situation? Perhaps the fingers in the jack are slightly misaligned, or there is some other manufacturing or installation problem at the jack. But just in case there is a known issue with (I don't know?) European/metric TRS jacks/plugs or something, I'd love to hear about it. I'm assuming this is just an oddball situation, though it's kind of ringing a bell about something I may have seen but forgotten many years ago on another stereo instrument. Thanks for any observations.

Hey spinality,
I would try removing the strap button from the jack. That should ensure that you can plug the cable in fully. If that helps, the jack may not be protruding from the tailblock enough. A simple tweak to the jack's installation should fix it. If that doesn't improve things, then it would most likely be an issue with jack or cable tolerance (or both).
