    I've never been able to get a Lyric to work on a Tri-Cone. I've have varying success with biscuit bridges, but even then, they require a lot of extra work to get the mic working in the right spot. Tri-Cones have much less space for a mic like the Lyric.

    You may have better luck with something like the K&K Reso pickup.

      I have been using a condeser mic for my acoustic and resonator guitars as far back as I started gigging. I don't like pickups. I utilize a Shure PG81. It isn't the most touchy condenser mic, however it sounds great live and opposes criticism well.
