My PARA D.I is 14 years old, maybe older. Is there any advantage to getting a 2018 PARA D.I.? Is there anything different about it?

The Para DI's design really hasn't changed that much at all. Any actual changes would be in the component size. Many components are getting smaller, but we are still using the same layout, part-values and high-quality parts.

If your DI is still functioning properly, you probably wouldn't notice any difference upgrading to a 2018 model.
