Align Session as a preamp for a K&K pure mini?

Will the Align Session pedal work well as a preamp for a passive pick-up such as a K&K pure mini?

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for posting.

The Align pedals in-general work really well with the Pure Mini. The Session's Comp-EQ helps to balance out the frequency range a bit, and the Saturation helps by adding a bit of depth and texture to the low-end.

I personally have had better end-results with the Align EQ and the K&K, but the Session is helpful too. The K&K Pure Mini pickups that I've used have had some frequencies that the Align EQ really helped to tame.

There shouldn't be any issues with that at all. The Align Session has an input impedance that should work just fine with the K&K.
