Anthem installation with brass bridge plate protection

Hi there, has anyone installed the Anthem pick-up system on an acoustic guitar equipped with a brass bridge plate protector like this http://www.mitchelsplatemate.com/platemate ?
Provided there is enough space for the installation of the Anthem mic, will the brass plate affect the functionality of the system ? Thanks for any feedback :-)

If there is enough space on the bridge plate for the mic, the mic itself should function just fine. You just want to be sure that the mic doesn't sit on top of the brass, which would be an uneven mounting surface.

If there isn't enough room on the bridge plate, the mic may be alternately positioned off of the plate.
