battery drain?

I have a plastic "Strap Jack" plug I've used to secure my guitar strap on the Baggs brass "endpins." It's a plastic, dummy 1/4 inch plug which you insert to capture the strap and keep it from slipping off the endpin. Works great and provides muuch peace of mind when playing unplugged. I just switched from a passive IBeam to a Lyric. Will leaving the plastic dummy plug in the Lyric pre-amp drain the battery?

Hey Fullwedge,
As long as the plastic is non-conductive, it should not drain the battery on the Lyric. The jack needs something that will conduct in order to turn on correctly.
