Someone online is selling a dual source preamp, but says he had has trouble with the ribbon connectors. Can I purchase those? Or is it more likely that the connector(s) on the preamp has a problem?

Second thought, dual source might not be the best route to go. What I'm trying to achieve is a dual source system using my favorite pickup, the LB6. So, I'm considering using Lyric and putting the LB-6 on the "thru" channel. I'm trying to simplify, so I'd really like to mix to mono in the guitar, but I don't know of a way to do that. I guess I'm really trying to replicate the old Duet but use a Lyric. Any thoughts?Last edited by Ex202; 11-27-2018, 07:42 AM.

The Lyric isn't compatible with any onboard mixing systems at this time. So the only way to mix the Lyric and the LB6 would be to output in stereo, like you said, using the Aux output on the Lyric. Then you would just need to blend the signals outside of the guitar with a stereo preamp like the Mixpro, or through a mixer or amp.
I've loved the few times I've heard the Lyric and LB6 together. If you can find a setup that will work for you, it should be a great combo.
