Battery drain

The battery in my Anthem SL Classical seems to run down faster than I would expect. I don't use it often because I don't need an amp at home. Is it supposed to disconnect the battery when unplugged or is a small but constant current drain?

Unplugging the cable from the endpin jack should keep the battery from draining. If you are getting battery drain while the guitar is sitting, there could be a short in the output jack that is leaving the system on at all times.
