  • Trying to use the balanced output of the Taylor ES1 system and go into the Venue.

What would be the best way to go from a balanced output on a guitar,(Taylor ES1) to the unbalanced input of the Venue? When I simply plug it in with a 1/4" TS to 1/4" TS cord, I lose half the signal. The venue can compensate for this but I also feel like I lose some tone when I do it. It sounds a bit muddy. Is there an easy way to use the balanced output of the Taylor ES1 with the Venue?
    Thanks,

    Tom

    Hey Tom,
The only way to use the balanced output from the ES with the Venue would be to use an adapter to go from the balanced signal to the unbalanced input. The Venue won't even turn on without an unbalanced cable plugged into it.

If you can get the right adapter, you should still be able to use the balanced output from the guitar, without losing any tone quality into the DI.
