  • Venue DI boost circuit

Is the boost circuit actually a boost, or does it disengage an attenuator? In other words, with boost engaged am I playing through a shorter/cleaner signal path than when it's not engaged?
If the boost circuit IS its own little amplifier circuit is it as clean as the main circuit?
    Thanks.

    Hi John,
The boost on the Venue is actually an additional gain-stage boost. So it should technically be quieter without the boost engaged. However, it is an extremely quiet gain- so quiet that it will only (audibly) increase noise that was already in the signal path before the Venue.

    I hope that helps.
