ibeam vol pedal compatibility

I have an iBEAM onboard retrofit system in my acoustic guitar and would like to get a volume pedal.
Please could someone advise if there is anything I need to be careful of regarding compatibility so I don't end up in a mess?

If you have an iBeam onboard, then any volume pedal designed for active pickups should work just fine.

If you go with a regular passive volume pedal, usually they will have a 25k pot value (more or less). That should insure good tonal quality throughout the pot's sweep.
