  • Converting Lyric into Dual Source

How does one go about converting the Lyric into a dual source for a mag pick up. I need to know what wiring is needed and please, tell me in Electrical for Dummies language. If this is already explained on this forum, can someone lead me to the thread. Thanks

There are definitely other threads that go over the concept of adding a magnetic pickup to a Lyric. Below are links to a couple, but there are others as well. If you don't get the answers you need, you can email me at [email protected] and I can send you some wiring diagrams and hopefully answer any additional questions that you have.

      Lyric and Dual Source

Thanks for the help on this one. I am going to try to take my already installed Lyric and add my M80 sound hole pick up to it making that a dual source. Then I am running that through a Dtar Solstice dual channel and then into a Dtar Equinox for great eq shaping then into my two Shertler Unico's. I hope that gives the tone that I want for this awesome new custom shop Charis.

That sounds like a top-notch, versatile setup! You should be able to get a lot out of that combination with the Equinox.

I imagine that the Custom Charis is pretty great too!

        All the best!
